60 years, The Legend Lives On

August 16th marks the 60's anniversary of Babe Ruth's passing. For the day, the Sultan of Swat was honored by official procilmations of "Babe Ruth Day" in the states of New York, Connecticut, Maryland, Nebraska and Florida. A flag was also flown over the US capital in rememberance of the legacy Babe left behind 60 years ago today.
