Rumored Home Of Babe Ruth Seeks Protection

The City Landmark Protections Commision has decided to investigate the history of a house, located in Queens, that was rumored to be the retirement home of Babe Ruth. Sources claim that Ruth used this house during the summer months due to its close proximity to one of his favorite golf courses. Officials are in the process of going through historical records to finalize the status of the house. If declared a landmark the home would be protected under its connection to such a historical district.
